Girly Game Day Food: Low Carb Pinwheels

Who doesn't like a good pinwheel? So why not make it a little lighter in calories by choosing a low carb wrap and reduced fat cheese? I heated up the ham and cheese to allow the cheese to melt, but this is optional. The best part of this combination is the crunch from the lettuce and the fresh mustard. To me, these are essential, but that's just my preference. A good pinwheel means allowing the wrap to sit in the fridge for a bit to make sure the ingredients all sticks together. Even better, cover over the wrap with cling wrap to keep it all tight. Allow it to sit for maybe 30 minutes in the fridge before unwrapping and cutting into bite size peices.


Ingredients

  • low carb wrap

  • 2 slices fresh deli ham

  • 1/4 cup reduced fat shredded cheese

  • 1-2 tbsp fresh mustard

  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
